Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. It always goes first, full of fire and eager to get things started.
Character
Aries opens the entire zodiac, and you can tell at first glance. It carries a raw strength and an eagerness to be the first into everything. The moment an idea strikes, Aries is already moving, never waiting for anyone to get there first. Its element is fire, so it radiates energy, warmth, and a real zest for life.
Aries is driven forward by courage and a longing to win. It loves to compete and test its strength, but it fights fairly and out in the open. Deceit and backroom games simply aren't its nature, and it is often genuinely caught off guard when it runs into them. Aries says what it thinks, even if that ruffles a few feathers.
It is ruled by Mars, the planet of warriors, which is why Aries is bold and unafraid of any obstacle. Failure doesn't break it; if anything, it spurs it on. Aries decides quickly and stays calm and clear-headed in a crisis. It knows what it wants, and it wants it now, ideally yesterday.
The flip side of that coin is rashness. Aries sometimes throws itself into action before thinking things through, and so it easily lands in trouble. Persistence and patience aren't its strong suit, and a long, drawn-out fight soon wears it out. It flares up quickly, but cools down just as fast and is its sweet self again.
